"In 1992 I fractured my right kneecap. In 1999, I broke my left leg. With the leftover damage, I couldn't find an exercise program that didn’t aggravate my sore spots. I got fat, lazy, and started to acquire the “old age” diseases.
This summer I started Pilates classes with Nancy and yoga classes with Ben. They worked with me to modify exercises that might hurt and encouraged me every step of the way. Feeling better about myself, I got into a healthier lifestyle in general. After 6 months, I lost 15 pounds and 2 sizes. I can walk farther, lift more, have more energy, and feel better than I have in many years. Helping their students get strong and flexible isn’t Nancy’s and Ben’s job, it is their mission."
